Group hug at the finish. This is where it hit us that we had just won and we centered around Mike Jennings, who selflessly gave everything he had to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of in his sweet mobile home. I think Mike put out more energy than all the riders combined!!! Thanking our support staff and aknowledging their super human effort is very important. A good crew can make or breat you.

We rode the last 3 miles or so as a team. We had a huge lead so we took our time....and even went the wrong way at one point. Towards the end, Albert rolled off to ride in solo and we followed him as a sign that this effort was for Erika, his wife.
